A Warm Welcome from SEED’s New CEO & President, Rob Connor, PhD

Dear SEED Community,

As I step into the role of CEO & President of The SEED Foundation, I want to begin by sharing how honored and excited I am to join this extraordinary community.

From my very first conversations with staff, board members, and supporters, it was clear that SEED is a community defined by deep intentionality, ambition, and care. Entering this new chapter, my priority has been simple: to listen, observe, and immerse myself fully in our schools, learning firsthand from the students, educators, and families who make this mission come alive every day.

Over the past few weeks, I have had the privilege of visiting SEED’s campuses, and those visits have left an indelible impression on me. Whether watching our students collaborate in the classroom, seeing our educators provide steady and compassionate mentorship, or experiencing the vibrant energy that fills our dorms and common spaces, the heartbeat of SEED is palpable everywhere you look.

What resonates most deeply with me about SEED is the promise we make to our scholars: that their potential is limitless, and that we will walk alongside them every step of the way—to, through, and beyond college. That promise is only possible because of the steadfast dedication of our teachers, student life staff, advisors, families, and champions across the country.

Because listening is at the heart of how I hope to lead, I am eager to connect directly with as many of you as possible in the weeks and months ahead. Whether you are a partner, family member, or longtime supporter, I would love to hear your perspective, your stories, and your hopes for our next chapter. If you have time, please use this link to schedule a 30-minute chat with me.

Thank you for welcoming me so warmly into the SEED family, and thank you for your enduring belief in our students.

Together, I know our next chapter will be as inspiring and impactful as the foundation upon which it stands.

Warmly,

Rob Connor
