ROB CONNOR, CEO & PRESIDENT

Rob Connor joined The SEED Foundation as CEO & President in October of 2026. A lifelong educator and school builder, Rob has spent his career expanding access and opportunity for students and families who are too often overlooked, and he brings more than two decades of experience leading boarding school communities. He came to the Foundation after seventeen years building Christina Seix Academy (CSA), a tuition free boarding school in Trenton, New Jersey.

As co-founder and Head of School at CSA, Rob led the pre-K through 8th grade program; and developed its 80-acre campus. He executed CSA’s mission of providing an advanced educational experience, social capital development, and family empowerment, equipping students and families with access to the tools and networks necessary for long-term, intergenerational mobility and well-being.

Rob has devoted his career to advocacy, access, and opportunity for underrepresented students and families. He has contributed to several educational publications. A former Harber Fellow of Educational Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Wesleyan University, he has served on a range of nonprofit and advisory boards, including Centurion, one of the country's oldest nonprofits devoted to the vindication of the wrongly convicted, and the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Christina Seix Academy and as a Trustee of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. Rob holds a PhD in Educational Policy and Management from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Testing, Measurement, and Program Evaluation from Boston College, and is a very proud graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
