Directions to The SEED School Campus at 4300 C Street, SE

FROM DOWNTOWN WASHINGTON:Take Independence Avenue past RFK Stadium onto Whitney Young Memorial Bridge where Independence Avenue becomes East Capitol Street. Continue on East Capitol Street under a couple of bridges for 295 and Minnesota Avenue (unmarked). At third light, turn right onto Benning Road. Turn right onto C Street. Continue straight on C Street. The new SEED campus is at the end of the street, at the corner of C and Burns Streets.

TO RETURN TO DOWNTOWN WASHINGTON:Go straight out of the main gate onto Burns Street. Take your first right on D Street. Take a right on Ridge Road. Go straight on Ridge until the end of the street, where it merges with another street. Stay in the right lane during the merge and follow the sign that says “East Capital Street”. You will go down a ramp that will take you onto East Capital Street facing RFK Stadium and downtown Washington.

FROM VIRGINIA (Interstate 395):Traveling North on I-395, cross the Potomac River on the 14th Street Bridge. Stay to the left as you cross and start to look for signs to 295. (Note: Do NOT take the Interstate 395 Tunnel.) Follow signs toward 295 and the Pennsylvania Avenue, SE exit, where the highway ends. Turn right on Pennsylvania Avenue and cross the Anacostia River via the John Philips Sousa Bridge. At the second stoplight, turn left onto Minnesota Avenue (there are two left turn lanes at this intersection). Travel about 1 mile on Minnesota Avenue and turn right on Ely Place (stoplight). Travel 0.6 miles on Ely, across Ridge Road (second stop sign), and continue following Ely/E down the hill. Turn left onto 40th Place/Burns Street. The SEED School is located straight ahead on the corner of Burns Street and C Street, SE.

FROM VIRGINIA (Route 66):Take Route 66 EAST over the Roosevelt Bridge. Exit right to Independence Avenue. Follow Independence Avenue through downtown and past RFK Stadium. At the stadium, Independence Avenue joins East Capitol Street and crosses the Anacostia River via the Whitney Young Memorial Bridge. Continue on East Capitol Street, under couple of bridges for 295 and Minnesota Avenue. At the third light, turn right onto Benning Road. Turn right onto C Street. Continue straight on C Street. The new SEED campus is at the end of the street, at the corner of C and Burns Streets.

FROM MARYLAND:Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (295) towards Washington. Bear to the left when 295 divides – do not bear right to Route 50/downtown Washington. Exit at Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave/Minnesota Ave exit and merge onto Kenilworth Ave southbound. Stay in the left lane. Take first left onto Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave, then turn right onto 44th Street. Bear left onto Benning Road. Go past East Capitol Street intersection. Turn right onto C Street. Continue straight on C Street. The new SEED campus is at the end of the street, at the corner of C and Burns Streets. (Note: If you miss the Burroughs Avenue exit on 295, exit at East Capitol Street. Cross over the Anacostia River, bear left and circle around RFK Stadium. Follow "From Downtown DC" Directions above.)
