Athletics

The athletics program encourages students to challenge themselves, both physically and mentally, and teaches the values of sportsmanship, teamwork and commitment.  The physical education curriculum also focuses on healthy living, including diet, exercise and general wellness.  Through athletics, students grow as individuals, support peers, increase academic achievement and develop leadership abilities.

SEED offers a wide range of sports, including volleyball, tennis, baseball, softball, cheerleading, soccer, flag football, golf and track and field.  Students are exposed to competitive and intramural athletics throughout the school year, including tournaments, camps and clinics, in addition to completing physical education coursework.  Reflecting keen student interest in athletics, SEED created intramural basketball and flag football leagues, in which students participate before the academic day begins.  The athletics program also offers strength and conditioning in the mornings before school to all students who wish to participate.
