Annual Fund
SEED depends on support from friends to make up the difference between what public revenue provides and the cost of operating the School, as well as to fund initiatives to refine the SEED school model and open additional SEED schools nationwide.
As a public school, The SEED School of Washington, D.C. receives public funds based upon the number of District of Columbia children it serves. These public funds only cover the basic expenses of SEED's academic and boarding programs. Your gift supports critical aspects of the School such as educational and arts programs, boarding and student life, parent and community outreach, the college fund and the library collection, as well as other important programs. Gifts to the annual fund also support the development of The SEED School of Maryland, scheduled to open in September 2008.
Donors will be recognized in the annual report. One hundred percent of your contributions help improve the learning experience of SEED students. Please click here to participate in the 2007-2008 Annual Fund drive using our secure online giving page.
